Director geral da CYBER 4.0

Diretor do Cyber 4.0, o Centro Nacional Italiano de Competências em Cibersegurança, promovido pelo Ministério das Empresas e pelo Made in Italy, uma parceria público-privada que visa reforçar as capacidades em cibersegurança e fomentar a inovação no setor privado e na Administração Pública.

Ex-membro do Grupo Consultivo do GFCE, é membro do Grupo de Trabalho Ad-Hoc sobre o Quadro Europeu de Competências em Cibersegurança da ENISA e especialista individual para organizações da UE e internacionais em iniciativas de capacitação em cibersegurança.

Entre 2016 e 2021, foi Gestor de Programas no Conselho da Europa, responsável pela Ação Global contra o Cibercrime (GLACY+), uma iniciativa de capacitação global para apoiar as autoridades de justiça criminal de todo o mundo no combate ao cibercrime. Anteriormente, trabalhou como profissional de cibersegurança na Agência dos Direitos Fundamentais da UE, em Viena, e no setor financeiro italiano.

Matteo é doutorado em Engenharia de Sistemas e mestre em Engenharia Eletrónica pela Universidade Sapienza de Roma, mestre em Cibersegurança pela Royal Holloway University of London e mestre em Direito Internacional com foco em cibersegurança e cibercrime pela Universidade das Nações Unidas para a Paz

Director of Cyber 4.0, the Italian national Cybersecurity Competence Center promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, a public-private partnership aimed at strengthening cybersecurity capacities and fostering innovation of private sector and Public Administration.

Former Member of the GFCE Advisory Group, he is a member of the Ad-Hoc Working Group on the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework of ENISA and individual expert for EU and international organizations on cyber capacity building initiatives.

Between 2016 and 2021 he has been Programme Manager at Council of Europe, in charge of the Global Action on Cybercrime (GLACY+), global capacity building initiative to support criminal justice authorities worldwide in the fight against cybercrime. Prior to that, he worked as cybersecurity professional at the EU Fundamental Rights Agency in Vienna and in the Italian financial sector.

Matteo holds a PhD Systems Engineering and MSc Electronic Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, a MSc Cybersecurity from the Royal Holloway University of London, and an LLM in international law on cybersecurity and cybercrime with the UN University for Peace.
